First contact with scammer "Peter Anderson" in 2009-- your inheritance and my son is dying

These are real emails that took place in 2009.  The names have been changed in the areas noted in RED FONT, to protect the innocent.

The series illustrates the approach, details (names, addresses, emails, phone numbers) and words used by the scam perpetrators.

Now concerning your late client Mr. James VICTIM, it is in fact remotely possible that I am a blood relative of his.  I am a second generation VICTIM  in this country.  My grandfather and family migrated when the German Mark became completely worthless in Germany.  My grandfathers sister who migrated to Canada came to the US to visit her brothers offspring when I was just a kid.  Many years later my wife and I while traveling realized we were close to her home in Canada and a quick phone call successfully provided the information I needed  to visit her and what an interesting visit that turned into.   She talked much of the terrible situation when the mark became valueless and how my grandfather  who was a baker  on the square in Hamburg migrated to the US  and shortly after how here husband who was a furniture builder also on the square in Hamburg migrated to Canada.  She also told of another brother who migrated to England so that is the  seed to my statement above.   However,  I have no further documentation  of any kind to substantiate  anything further.   I never knew my grandfather  as he had passed prior to my birth which just happened  to be on his birthday and I did not get his first name William because an older cousin already had it.   If you have any access to your clients family tree I would  be greatly interested in it.  

Now concerning  the split of 50  50 after expenses have been covered seems very equitable to me.   I have one  question  however in accomplishing the split,  can that be accomplished prior  to my 50% coming to me.   The reason I say that is because I do not want to get taxed  on the whole thing prior to the split being made.  I don't know  if that is a valid thought but I have that thought and at this time it would be very inappropriate for me to discuss that with my accountant.

I am very pleased to hear from you so quickly and I am pleased with what I hear.  I also see no reason why there should be obstacles in the process and this is my hand shake on that.
